Wes Falconer, MBA, MHA
Wes Falconer is the Practice Administrator of Cancer Care Specialists. He holds a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration from Capella University, a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Pheonix, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from the University of Maryland University College. He has over 10 years of experience in healthcare administration and has consulted for numerous physician practices nationwide.
Wes Falconer is a veteran of the United States Air Force and has proudly served in Operation Enduring Freedom. He has extensive experience in healthcare operations, finance, strategy and holds a Black Belt in Six Sigma. Over the past 5 years, Wes has devoted his career to developing and implementing value-based care programs and quality pathways both of which have been instrumental in leading our organization's precision medicine program. Wes's devotion to quality and affordable healthcare has allowed our organization to successfully participate in many value-based care programs. Clinical and Administrative Research also interests him greatly and he is currently serving as a principal investigator with the National Institute of Health. Wes is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and American College of Health Executives where he is currently completing his fellowship.
Ann Marie Rutherford, BSN, OCN
Clinical Nurse Manager
Ann Marie serves as the Clinical Nurse Manager for Cancer Care Specialists. Ann Marie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Nevada Reno-Orvis School of Nursing and is nationally certified through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation. She has over 19 years of oncology experience including acute care and surgical oncology.
Ann Maire leads the delivery of patient care for nursing and clinical support. She is responsible for patient care standards, professional practice standards, and the delivery of efficient and cost-effective care in the outpatient setting. In addition to her many operational responsibilities, Ann Marie serves as a key liaison between ASCO, ASH, and NCCN and Cancer Care Specialists. Ann Marie is a passionate advocate for oncology nursing, with a strong interest in developing and implementing innovative care models. Ann Marie is actively involved in the Nevada Oncology Society.
